Wrestling Squares Off Against Kutztown To Start Virginia Duals On Friday, Jan. 13th

The Apprentice School wrestling team opens 2017 competition at the 37th Annual Virginia Duals on Friday, January 13th, as they square off against the number on seeded Kutztown University Bears at 9:00 am at the Hampton Coliseum.  If the Builders win they would wrestle again on Saturday, January 14th at 2:00 pm.  A loss would see the team wrestle again on Friday at 1:00 PM. 

The Bears enter the Virginia Duals with a 2-1 record and are ranked 22nd nationally in the latest Division II rankings and are ranked 5th in the latest NCAA Division II- Super Region I rankings. 

The Builders enter the Virginia Duals with a 2-3 record and are ranked 4th in the NCWA Division I polls. 

Kutztown is the top seed, Ferrum is the second seed, King is third and Liberty is fourth, who is ranked 2nd in the NCWA Division I rankings.  The other teams in the American College Divison bracket include: Camden County (N.J.), Central Florida, and Nassau CC.
