Winter Weekend Preview - Jan. 22
This weekend is another busy weekend for Apprentice School athletics. The wrestling team hosts its annual Builder Invitational on Saturday starting at 9 am, while the men's basketball team visits in-state rival Southern Virginia for a 2 pm tip. The women's basketball team travels to New York to face St. Joseph's-Brooklyn and Briarcliffe in a pair of USCAA games this weekend.

The Apprentice School wrestling team competed in a tournament in Lexington, Va. on Saturday taking second at the Washington & Lee Invitational, while Ricky Anderson wrestled in the American Airlines All-Star Challenge in Orlando, Florida going 1-1 in a pair of duals Saturday night.

Wrestlers Go Winless At Virginia Duals
The Apprentice School wrestling team competed on Friday in the 31st annual Virginia Duals and came out on the low end of three dual matches. York College defeated the Builders 30-16 in the opener, while Johns Hopkins scored a 25-15 victory and St. Andrews defeated the Builders 23-22 in the final match.

The winter sports seasons kick back into full gear this weekend as the wrestling team competes in the 31st annual Virginia Duals starting on Friday. Both basketball teams will play on Saturday against USCAA opposition on the road, while the Virginia Duals will finish at the Hampton Coliseum.
