Chevres, Holley Named To VaSID All-State Wrestling Teams
Apprentice School sophomore Marcus Chevres and senior Ty Holley were named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association All-State Wrestling teams announced on Friday. Chevres was a first team selection, while Holley was a second team honoree.

Wrestlers Sweep Pair To Close Regular Season
The Apprentice School wrestling team closed out its regular season with a pair of wins on Saturday in Laurinburg, N.C. The Builders defeated NCAA Division II St. Andrews Presbyterian College 33-12 then knocked off NCAA Division I Campbell University 28-16 at Harris Court on the campus of St. Andrews Presbyterian College.

The Apprentice School wrestling team competed in probably its toughest tournament thus far and finished eighth in the New Standard Spartan Invitational hosted by York College. Four teams that are ranked in the current NCAA Division III Top 15 and two perennial nationally-ranked programs were participants in the ten-team event.
