Wrestling Team Splits Action In Knight Brawl Duals

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Five Builders went 2-0 on the night but the Apprentice School wrestling teams split a pair of duals at the University of Central Florida Knight Brawl Duals in Orlando, Florida.

In the opener, the host Knights scored wins in three of the final four bouts to take a 22-19 victory over the Builders.  The nightcap saw the Builders score wins in six out of seven bouts in the middle of the dual match for a 31-14 victory over Marion Military Institute.

Leading the way for the Builders on Friday night were sophomore Marcus Chevres (133 pounds), senior Ty Holley (141), senior Matt Perry (157), senior Will Harcum (174) and sophomore LA Colon (235 pounds) who all went 2-0.

The team will take to the mat again on Saturday morning to compete in the Central Florida Open starting at 9 am.
